The Yuinmery gold and copper project that is being developed by Empire Resources Limited is located 475 kilometres north east of Perth in Western Australia. Empire Resources is the sole owner of the mining tenements in the Archaean Youanmi greenstone belt that also includes the Just Desserts gold and copper deposit in which Empire Resources have found an indicated and inferred resource of more than one million tonnes of ore containing 1.82 percent copper and 0.78 grams a tonne of gold.
Similarities Found Between the Yuinmery Deposit and the Jaguar and Golden Grove Mining Operations
The Yuinmery and Just Deserts deposits are similar in nature to the ore currently being mined at the Jaguar and Golden Grove mines also in Western Australia. Deposits with this type of mineralisation are usually found in clusters and often continue to great depths. Testing carried out so far has indicated high recoveries of copper and gold can be expected to be attained from the Just Deserts deposits in particular.Yuinmery Tenement Expanded With Acquisition of La Mancha Holdings
In 2010 Empire Resources Limited began negotiations with La Mancha Resources Australia for it to purchase an interest in the adjoining tenements to the Yuinmery tenement. This agreement effectively increased Empire Resources Limited tenement holding in the area to 98 square kilometres, therefore making it one of the major landholders in the mineral rich Youanmi greenstone belt.Exploration of the tenements adjoining the Yuinmery tenements have discovered numerous areas of gold and copper geochemistry within these holdings. These explorations have included aircraft carrying electromagnetic geochemistry surveying that indicated many untested conductive areas which Empire Resources Limited consider to be particularly prospective for high grade mineralisation.
Yuinmery Resource Still Growing
The total gold and copper resource base underpinning the Yuinmery project has been given a lift as far as economic mining of the deposit is concerned, with a second gold and copper deposit being discovered, just 1.3 kilometres north of the Just Desserts resource. Exploratory drilling will be undertaken to further calculate this latest resource that will expand the total resource base of the Yuinmery project. The Constantine mineralisation has been traced along strike for a minimum of 13 kilometres.Empire Resources Limited is currently engaged in exploration and evaluation of many prospective mineral deposits in Australia, primarily in Western Australia. Besides the Yuinmery gold and copper project it is also involved with the development of the Troy Creek gold, copper and platinum project, the Yarlarweelor uranium project and the Penny Find mine. The Troy Creek project is located 900 kilometres north east of Perth and situated within tenements covering 585 square kilometres.
