Xstrata Zinc

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Switzerland, operating in over 20 countries and employ over 70,000 people at more than 100 operations and projects around the world. Xstrata Zinc is one of the worldís largest miners and producers of zinc.

Xstrata Zincís operations reach throughout Australia, Spain, Germany, the UK and Canada and Peru.

In 2013 Xstrata merged with the Swiss commodities trader Glencore Group, forming a resource giant now known as Glencore Xstrata plc.

Xstrata Zincís projects include interests in the Lady Loretta deposit in Queensland.
