Trans-Tasman Resources Limited

New Zealand based company Trans Tasman Resources is an exploration and development company that was first established in 2007 in an effort to explore and develop the North Island's offshore iron sand deposits.

Trans Tasman Resources has proposed to extract up to 50 million tonnes of iron sediment per year from the South Taranki Bight Project which is approximately 22km off the coast of Patea. Since the commencement, the company have outlaid 60 million dollars in order to investigate the resource.
