In 2008 Midwest Corporation was acquired by Sinosteel Corporation forming the now Sinosteel Midwest Corporation, the company operates Iron Ore and Steel materials projects in Western Australia.The company is focused on developing, mining and processing metallurgical mineral resources, trading, research and logistics.Sinosteel Midwest has 5 projects currently in WA including Kalanooka, Blue Hills, Weld Range, Jack Hills and Robinson Range.
