PTTEP Australasia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PTTEP, a Thai national petroleum exploration and production company. PTTEP operates more than 40 projects globally with a workforce of 4,000, international assets include exploration and production projects in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Oman, Canada and Mozambique.

In Australia, PTTEP operates Montara oil field and the highly prospective Cash Maple gas condensate field in the Timor Sea, employing over 300 people based in Perth, Darwin and the Timor Sea.
