Premier Coal

Premier Coal was established in 1950 in Collie, Western Australia and supplies the statesí south-west electricity grid with power generation. Premier Coal employs over three hundred personnel in the local area making the company a significant contributor to the community.

Since the company began, it has produced an estimated 90 million tonnes of coal through both open cut and underground mining operations. Today, it consists of one open cut mine with the reserves forecasted for future operations.

With a long term supply contract with Verve Energy which is the states power generator, Premier Coal is dedicated in producing quality coal for years to come.
