Mungana Goldmines

Mungana Goldmines is a gold exploration company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in July 2010.Mungana has a few operations currently spanning over three States including QLD, NSW and SA.Projects include-- The Tunkillia and Tarcoola Gold projects in SA. Combined resources of 975koz of gold and 2.5Moz ounces of silver. Mungana is targeting production of over 80,000 ounces of gold per annum from the Tunkillia and Tarcoola open pit mines.- The Mungana Gold Project covers two large gold-copper-silver mines, Red Dome and Mungana, in the Chillagoe region of North Qld. The porphyry-style deposits include combined Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resources of 131 million tonnes at 0.64 grams per tonne of gold, 0.21% copper and 8 grams per tonne of silver.The company is currently divesting its Mungana Project, it was operated as a joint venture between Mungana and Kagara Group but following the collapse of the Kagara Group the mine was placed under volutary administration on April 29, 2012.- Tenements under application in Qld- Farm-in arrangement with AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited on its Nyngan Gold Project in NSW
