Morobe Mining Joint Venture

Morobe Mining is a joint business venture between three subsidiary companies. Established in 2008, the joint venture was created for the purpose of exploratory operations, the developing and operating of mines.

The company has a 50-50 joint venture with two other companies; Harmony Gold Mining Company and Newcrest Mining Limited Australia. Together the companies facilitate current and future mining operations and projects.

The Hidden Valley mine is the first of the projects apart of the joint venture that was developed and operates under a comprehensive Environmental Management Plan, which is founded by the world's best practice. The company's mission statement is to discover, develop and operate gold mines in the Morobe Province in an effort to have a long term sustainable future.
