We are specialists in all facets of drilling and we offer rotary blast hole, production blast hole, pre split, down-hole hammer, top hammer, dewatering, depressurisation drilling, geotechnical, soil nails, ground anchors, exploration reverse circulation grade control, remote drilling and sampling.

Our associate company Maxfield Engineering and Maintenance Services P/L provide in-house services such as complete maintenance of our underground production drills, surface production drills, underground development drills and rebuilding and refurbishment of underground production drills, surface production drills, underground development drills. We also rebuild drifters, conduct upgrades on surface and underground production drills, fabricate and design specialised drilling equipment such as mobile rubber tyred underground diamond drills, as well as the hire of temporary production drills during rebuilds and refurbishments.

Maxfield Drilling provide various drilling services for surface mining such as rotary drilling of large diameter blastholes, top hammer drilling of presplit / trim and intermediate diameter blastholes, ITH hammer drilling of presplit / trim blastholes and large and intermediate blastholes. Our fleet and skilled operators are able to cater to various and changing conditions. Maxfield Drilling has been engaged in many mining projects, some that include Xstrata Copper Ernest Henry Project, Theiss/Xstrata Coal Collinsville Coal Project, Metal X Mount Bischoff Project, Australian Bulk Minerals Savage River Project and Tas Mines Kara Mine Project.

The civil construction sector of Maxfield Drilling provide customers with the following service options, soil nails, ground anchors, presplit drilling, rock bolts ñ inclusive of grouting and pull tests, bulk road cuttings both small and large scale, along with geotechnical services. Maxfield Drilling has conducted works on various projects, some of which include the Abi Group/McConnell Dowell Adelaide desalination plant, Gradcoís Bobaoil Dam Project and Vec Civil/Thiessí Brighton Bypass Northern Section.

Our quarry drilling services include top hammer drilling for presplit blastholes and intermediate diameter blastholes and ITH hammer drilling for presplit trim blastholes and intermediate diameter blastholes. Major quarry clients we have worked for are Groves Earthmoving, Boral, Hanson, Fieldwicks, BIS and HBMI ñ Hazell Bros.
