As an unlisted public company Macquarie Gold Ltd (MGL) was formed in November 2010 to invest in gold projects.

Macquarie Gold Limited focuse are on the exploration drilling of gold resources at the New South Whales Adelong Gold Project.

The Adelong Gold Project is being developed by Challenger Mines Pty Ltd 20 years after receiving mining approval from the New South Wales government.
