LANCO

Established in 1960 by three brothers as a transport business in India and by 1976 had a large fleet of trucks and was transporting materials for construction sites.

LANCO is an acronym for Lagadapati Amarappa Naidu and Company, named after the brothers uncle.

With rapid growth through the 70's and 80's and seizing new opportunities and partnerships in the 90's, LANCO entered into the power sector.

In early 2000 to 2010 LANCO won major projects, business and industry awards and LANCO Infratech Limited, a new holding corporate entity was created in 2006. Focusing on energy and construction and entering into the infrastructure and property development sectors.

LANCO has branched into Australia with its subsidiary company Griffin Coal in 2011. Operating the Griffin Coal mine in WA. A large thermal coal mine putting out around 4 million tonnes per annum catering mostly to the export market.
