InterGen

InterGen is a jointly owned by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and China Huaneng Group. InterGen has 11 power plants located throughout the UK, the Nertherlands, Mexico and Australia.

They have two projects in Australia, both located in Queensland, The Callide C Power Plant (CPP) is a coal fired station located near Biloela in Central Qld. Callide gets its coal supply from the nearby Anglo Callide Coal Mine and draws its water from Awoonga Dam near Gladstone.

The other project is the Millmerran Power Station. An 850w power station operating since 2003. Millmerran supplies electricity for around 1.1million homes. Coal for the power station is sourced from the nearby Commodore Mine.
