Inflight Publishing

Inflight Publishing Pty Ltd is a company that was brought to life in the Queensland outback. While attending a mining expo in the town of Mount Isa, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner of a regional airline that flew only a small number of fly-in fly-out miners from Brisbane to Cloncurry, Mount Isa and Townsville. The concept was raised to produce an on-board magazine and hence the first Inflight Magazine was delivered in 1999.

Since this time, Inflight Publishing grew significantly and produced a quarterly production, which then went on to a bi-monthly magazine due to the growth of MacAir airline. We soon found a greater demand for our magazine through other regional airlines such as Regional Link Airlines ñ Northern Territory, Tasair Airlines ñ Tasmania, Skippers Airlines ñ Western Australia, Sharp Airlines ñ Victoria, Brindabella and Aeropelican Airlines ñ New South Wales.

In 2008 we launched Airport Magazine, which is available throughout airport terminals and is free to airport guests. The magazine includes Mount Isa Airport Magazine, Coffs Harbour Airport Magazine, Newcastle Airport Magazine and Townsville Airport Magazine. In 2011 we further developed and created a magazine for the employees of the mining industry named Mining Life and Living and is directly delivered to mine sites.

Our magazines are produced by our enthusiastic and devoted team of journalists, editors, graphic artists and sales personnel. The magazines are local, extending from the coast to the outback. We cover lifestyle stories, celebrity interviews, national and international stories, tourism, innovation and technology.

Skippers Inflight Magazine is a complimentary glossy, full colour magazine found in the seat pockets of Skippers Western Australia flights and Skippers terminals. Three quarters of Skippers flights operate for the resources and mining sectors with destinations such as: Crescent Gold Laverton, Newcrest Mining Telfer, AngloGold Ashanti Sunrise Dam, Newmont Mining Jundee and Karara Mining Karara.

Mining Life and Living is a free magazine full colour and high quality that is catered to the mining industry. Mining Life and Living provide content that focuses on health, safety and a work-life balance. The magazines are distributed directly to many mine sites, allowing easy access for employees to read during their breaks, at camp or on their travels to and from work. We distribute to a large multitude of mine sites in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory to companies such as but not limited to Anglo Coal, CBH Resources, Glencore Xstrata, Newcrest Mining, Whitehaven Coal, Yancoal, Illawarra Coal, Peabody Energy, BHP, BMA, Evolution, Rio Tinto, Wesfarmers, Santos and MMG.
