Gold Fields

Gold Fields has been in business for over a decade, operating four mines in Australia- Agnew/Lawlers, St Ives, Darlot and Granny Smith, which are all located in the Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

First acquiring St Ives and Agnew gold mines in 2001, then acquiring Granny Smith, Lawlers and Darlot gold mines from Barrick Gold in 2013.

With the acquisition of these mines, known as the Yilgarn South Assets, they provide an additional 452,000 ounces of annual production, 2.6 million reserve ounces and 1.9 million resource ounces.

In total Gold Fields has eight operating mines in Australia, Ghana, Peru and South Africa, which has attributable annual gold production of approximately 2.02 million ounces.
