CS Energy

With 4 power stations including Callide, Wivenhoe, Kogan Creek and Gladstone and two mine assets including Kogan Creek coal mine and Glen Wilga and Haystack Rd undeveloped coal resources near Chinchilla.

The Kogan Creek coal mine supplies coal to the power station via a 4 kilometre long conveyor belt, while CS Energy own the mine they use Golding Contractors to operate the mine.

CS Energy provides ongoing maintenance and invest around $200 million each year for improvements and development. The Gladstone Power Station is Queenslands largest coal fired power station, accounting for approximately 13% of Queenslands electricity generation capacity. It receives its fuel supplies from the Xstrata Rolleston and Anglo Callide coal mines.
