Cape Alumina

Cape Alumina is a Brisbane-based company, controlling approximately 1,900 square kilometers of exploration tenements in western Cape York. This is the largest tenement holding in the region outside the Rio Tinto Alcan (RTA) mining leases.

The company's business model is based on the establishment of an independent bauxite supply business to feed the growing market for traded bauxite into China.

The Company has identified seven bauxite exploration areas and have conducted significant drilling at the Pisolite Hills and Bauxite Hills deposits, located outside Weipa in Qld and defined approximately 195 Mt 2, 3 of in-situ bauxite resources at these areas.
