Bathurst Resources

The company completed its move from Australia and became a New Zealand company with its head office located in Wellington in June 2013. On July 1, 2013, the Company commenced trading shares under the code BRL on both the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges.

Bathurst has three operating mines ñ Cascade on the edge of the Denniston Plateau, producing semi-soft coking coal, Takitimu in Southland and Canterbury Coal, near Christchurch, both providing energy for local industrial users. Bathurst also owns a coal distribution centre in Timaru.
