Rio Tinto releases tax and royalties paid report, prepared to take tax fight to court

Mining giant Rio Tinto says it is likely a stoush with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) over $447 million in allegedly unpaid taxes will be challenged in court.

The company has released its seventh annual report on the amount of taxes and royalties it pays in Australia and other countries in which it operates.
