We are now recruiting for highly capable Principal and Senior Consultant Mining Engineers (casual) to support our growing workload. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of challenging projects and systems, with clients that include junior explorers to top tier mining companies.
Your key focus will be working in the mining division to complete project work associated with mine designs and optimisations, mine scheduling, Due Diligence and technical reviews, and whole-of-business strategic assessments. As your skills will be required across diverse projects, you will have had previous consulting exposure to optimisation, scheduling, cost modelling and mine design tasks, and will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical skills in these areas. You will be proficient in Datamine, Surpac, Minesight and/or Deswik software. Open pit and underground mining engineers will be considered.Skills in operational improvement and data analysis will be highly regarded.

- Possess a relevant degree pertaining to mining engineering
- A demonstrated working history in the mining industry with on-site and field work being favourable, either open pit or underground (or both)
- Experience in a consulting environment
- Knowledge of global reporting codes including JORC 2012 and the NI 43-101
- Demonstrate specific technical software skills appropriate for the mining industry (e.g. mining software, spreadsheet & word processing)
