Our Shutdown Division encompasses a versatile range of capabilities including shutdown repairs, fixed plant maintenance and upgrade, fabrication and erection, and structural remediation. As a major shutdown service provider to the Iron Ore Mining Industry, we complete a high volume of FIFO shutdown and maintenance work across a variety of mining sites in the Pilbara.
We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters who are immediately available to complete an interview and commence training, with a view to mobilisation as soon as possible.
We are seeking applicants who have previous experience in painting and blasting fixed plant structural steel onsite and in a workshop environment. You will take pride in producing a high quality finish that meets client standards and painting specifications.
What do I need? Essential: You must have the following to be considered for work with Linkforce Engineering
3 years' experience as Industrial Spray Painter in mining or similar industry
Blasting and Painting qualifications or similar (advantageous)
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Confined Space RIIOHS202D
Gas Test Atmospheres MSAPMOHS217A
Working at Heights RIIOHS204A
National Police Clearance
The ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screen - ongoing
BHP, Rio Tinto and/or FMG Inductions

What will I do?
Prepare metal surfaces to be coated (mechanical and blasting)
Spray coating of surface treatment onto plant, tanks, and machinery
Maintain and set up of blasting and painting equipment
Paint to client standards and coating specifications
Complete Quality Control sampling and data recording
Shutdown maintenance general duties
