Being able to share your work roster privately to family and friends is the core functionality of WorkLife Calendar, an app which has recently released on both Apple and Google Play stores.
WorkLife Calendar aims to help the shift worker, especially those in mining and resources working FIFO or DIDO, to stay socially connected with their support network to help reduce feelings of isolation and disconnection.
Maryse Jensen is the founder of WorkLife Calendar with over spent 15 years’ experience working in the mining industry in WA and Qld, including 4 years FIFO into the Pilbara on a 2/1 roster.
The concept for WorkLife Calendar was developed out of a personal need and the desire to help with mental health. To create a better work life balance for those who work the often demanding and anti-social routines of shift based work rosters.
